We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. We, as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, are committed to the study and teaching of the Holy Bible, believing that it is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that believers may be equipped for every good work.
We commit:
To, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, walk together in Christian love;
To strive for the advancement of this church and churches of like-mindedness in knowledge and holiness;
To contribute, as led by the Spirit of God, to the ministry, the expenses of the church, the establishment of new churches, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations;
To sustain its worship, discipline, doctrines, and ordinances which are baptism and the Lord’s Supper;
To maintain family and personal devotions, educate our children in the truths of Scripture; and to seek the salvation of others in our sphere of influence;
To walk uprightly in the world, be just in our dealings, faithful to our engagement, exemplary in our conduct, and zealous in our efforts to advance the Kingdom of our Savior;
To watch over one another in brotherly love, remember one another in prayer, aid one another in sickness and distress, be tender in feeling and courteous in speech, slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and to secure it without delay.
We, having been led by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and as the profession of our faith having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, do now in the presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ
